The Skill Tree is used for boosting your in-game Stats. Strategically building your Skill Tree with Skill Points can do you wonders within the game. 

Understanding the Skill Tree at first may be complicated but do not worry. In this post we have all the information you’ll need to know about working with the Skill Tree, including one of the most effective ways of setting it up.

Ways to Obtain Skill Points

In order to upgrade your Skill Tree you will need to gather Skill Points. These Skill Points will be used in the Skill Tree to upgrade its power.

Skill points are a valuable item you can collect.

Daily Rewards –

Sometimes, within the daily rewards there may be a skill point. Make sure to log on Tap Titans 2 everyday to see the daily rewards you can get. 

Prestiging –

When you prestige after hitting the next stage goal, you can get skill points per stage goal hit. You will receive the skill points after prestiging.

Drops –

You will randomly get Skill Point Drops at times. This happens rarely.

Chests –

In the store, there are Chests that have Skill Points in them. The Titan Chest is the only chest with skill points you can buy using diamonds.

On the other hand, you can purchase Chest Bundles with real money to get Skill Points (if provided). All bundles are limited edition so decide wisely if you are planning to spend your real money.

How to Upgrade your Skill Tree using Skill Points

To upgrade your skill tree using the skill points you’ve acquired, press the bottom left red sword button. After, go to the skill tree button.

Out of the 4 different classes you can now pick something to upgrade. Make sure you read the description of each upgrade you want to do because once you add skill points they cannot be changed without spending diamonds.

If you want to reset your skill tree it will cost a certain amount of diamonds depending on your total skill points.

4 Classes of the Skill Tree

The Skill Tree has 4 different classes within it. This includes knight, warlord, sorcerer, and rogue. 

Each class has it’s own particular set of abilities and a theme. Knight is colored red, warlord is colored yellow, sorcerer is colored blue, and rogue is colored green.

Knight

The Knight class has its main focus on increasing the tap damage power. This class’ main skill being the “Knight’s Valor“. The Knight’s Valor skill has no Unlock requirements.

Other skills in this class include,

Chivalric Order – Tap damage from heroes (able to be unlocked once at, stage 250, knight level 3).

Pet Evolution – Pet Damage (able to be unlocked once at, stage 250, knight level 3).

Heart of Midas – Boss Gold (able to be unlocked once at, stage 250, knight level 3).

Cleaving Strike – Maximum Critical damage & Critical Chance (able to be unlocked once at, stage 500, knight level 20).

Summon Inferno – Fire Sword Damage and Fire Sword Duration (able to be unlocked once at, stage 500, knight level 20).

Lightning Burst – Pet damage per burst & Lightning burst splash count (able to be unlocked once at, stage 500, knight level 20).

Barbaric Fury – Active tap damage & Bonus taps per second (able to be unlocked once at, stage 1000, knight level 50).

Volcanic Supremacy – Fire Sword Damage per Multi-cast & Fire Swird Max Multi-cast (able to be unlocked once at, stage 1000, knight level 50).

Flash Zip – Charged Pet damage & Pet skill cooldowns (able to be unlocked once at, stage 1000, knight level 50).

Warlord

The Warlord class has its main focus on increasing the hero power. This class’ main skill being the “Master Commander“. The Master Commander skill has no Unlock requirements.

Other skills in this class include,

Spoils of War – Chesterson Gold & Chesterson Chance (able to be unlocked once at, stage 300, warlord level 3).

Heroic Might – Inspired Hero Damage & Inspired Hero Count (able to be unlocked once at, stage 300, warlord level 3).

Aerial Assault – Clan Ship Damage & Clan Ship Splash Count (able to be unlocked once at, stage 300, warlord level 3).

Tactical Insight – Hero Powers: Multiplicative & Hero Powers: Additive (able to be unlocked once at, stage 600, warlord level 20).

Searing Light – Inspired Damage Amplify & War Cry Duration (able to be unlocked once at, stage 600, warlord level 20).

Coordinated Offensive – Active All Hero Damage (able to be unlocked once at, stage 600, warlord level 20).

Astral Awakening – All Hero Damage per Tap (able to be unlocked once at, stage 1200, warlord level 50).

Command Supremacy – War Cry Damage per Multi-Cast & War Cry Max Multi-Cast (able to be unlocked once at, stage 1200, warlord level 50).

Anchoring Shot – Stun Damage & Stun Duration (able to be unlocked once at, stage 1200, warlord level 50).

Sorcerer

The Sorcerer class has its main focus on mana power. This class’ main skill being the “Limit Break“. The Limit Break skill has no Unlock requirements.

Other skills in this class include,

Midas Ultimate – Hand of Midas Gold & Fair Gold (able to be unlocked once at, stage 150, sorcerer level 3).

Angelic Radiance – Heavenly Strike Damage (able to be unlocked once at, stage 350, sorcerer level 3).

Phantom Vengeance – Shadow Clone Damage & Shadow Clone Attacks per second (able to be unlocked once at, stage 350, sorcerer level 3).

Fairy Charm – Multiple Fairy Chance & Fairy Spawn Cooldown (able to be unlocked once at, stage 700, sorcerer level 20).

Mana Siphon – Mana Per Tap (able to be unlocked once at, stage 700, sorcerer level 20).

Eternal Darkness – Shadow Clone duration (able to be unlocked once at, stage 700, sorcerer level 20).

Manni Mana – Mana Replenished (able to be unlocked once at, stage 1400, sorcerer level 50).

Lightning Strike – Titan Health Reduction & Lightning Damage Efficiency (able to be unlocked once at, stage 1400, sorcerer level 50).

Dimensional Shift – Primary Spell Effects & Spell Duration (able to be unlocked once at, stage 1400, sorcerer level 50).

Rogue

The Rogue class has its main focus on Gold. This class’ main skill being the “Master Thief“. The Master Thief skill has no Unlock requirements.

Other skills in this class include,

Assassinate – Deadly Strike Damage & Deadly Strike Duration (able to be unlocked once at, stage 400, rogue level 3).

Summon Dagger – Dagger Damage (able to be unlocked once at, stage 400, rogue level 3).

Ambush – Multi-Spawn Count & Multi-Spawn Chance (able to be unlocked once at, stage 400, rogue level 3).

Stroke Of Luck – Companion Deadly Strike Damage & Gold Chance (able to be unlocked once at, stage 800, level 20).

Poison Edge – Dagger Poison Boost & Dagger Count (able to be unlocked once at, stage 800, level 20).

Cloaking – Cloaked Skip Chance & Cloak Stages (able to be unlocked once at, stage 800, level 20).

Forbidden Contract – Forbidden Contract Max Damage & Time Until Max Damage (able to be unlocked once at, stage 800, level 50).

Dagger Storm – Deadly strike damage per multi-cast, Deadly strike max multi-cast, & Dagger Cooldown (able to be unlocked once at, stage 800, level 50).

Deadly Focus – Deadly Strike Boost & Boost Max Count (able to be unlocked once at, stage 800, level 50).

What are Clans

To start off, Clans in Tap Titans 2 are where players can gather to chat, give each other perks, and participate in Clan Raids. Clans can consist of up to 50 players.

Each clan has its own unique name as well as a snazzy logo. Joining a Clan is just an overall great way to make new friends and earn in-game bonuses.

Benefits of Being in a Clan

Once you reach level 25, you will be able to join Clans.

Clan Ship – The first massive boost you gain from joining a Clan is the Clan Ship. This Clan Ship will do a certain amount of damage to attack the Titan enemies. This Clan Ship boost is no doubt, extremely helpful.

Clan Damage Bonus – Being in a Clan also rewards you with a damage bonus! This means you will get an All Damage Multiplier that will help you in your attacks.

Higher Starting Stage – After doing a prestige it can be a hassle to get back to the stage you once were at. Well, when you’re in a clan you will start at a higher stage than if you weren’t in a clan. This is a great additional clan benefit.

Clan Crates – Clan crates are a perk that anyone in the Clan can purchase for others or receive. Clan crates cost 500 gems. The Clan Crate perk gives everyone in the Clan a large portion of Gold based on their level.

To know when you have received a Clan Crate, you will have to check in the Clan chat. There will be a notification that a Clan Crate has been dropped if someone purchases this perk for your Clan. If someone does end up buying this perk for your Clan, to redeem it you will have to simply click on your Clan Ship. A question will pop up asking if you want to use your Clan Crate.

Chatting with Players – Nothing feels better than discussing a video game that you love with a friend, right? Well, a Clan is a perfect place to discuss Tap Titans 2 with other players who love the game as well!

How to Join a Clan

There are 2 different ways you can join a Clan. 

First, start by pressing the Clan Icon on the top left of your screen

Pressing the Clan Icon will lead you to this screen. 

You can use the Clan Directory to scroll through different clans near your level. If you find a clan that seems good for you, simply join that clan.

If you already know the code of a Clan you want to join, use the Clan Code button.

If you decide you want to leave a clan, here is what you’ll have to do.

First, press the Clan Icon as you might have guessed.

Then from there, next press the “Info” Button.

Now, press the “Clan Info” section. Once done, the “Leave Clan” Button will be on the Bottom Right.

How to Create a Clan

To create a clan, you will need to be at least level 25 and have 400 gems.

If you’ve met these requirements, you can now press the Clan Icon on the top left.

From there, press the Create Clan button.

You can:

• Create a Clan Name
• Create a Clan Description
• Change the privacy (public or private)
• Change the visibility (Global or your Country)
• Change the Stage Requirement
• Change the “Auto Kick” Days
• Change the Auto-Raid (On or Off)
• Change the Clan Image (From the images provided)

Note: All Grand Masters in your clan will be Demoted if they are offline for 30 days.

If you decide to make a Public Clan, your clan will automatically be recommended to other players near your level if you keep your clan running actively.

Clan Ranks

Clan Ranks from Highest Authority to Lowest:

Grand Master –

• Has access to settings and can start clan raids.
• Can Kick all ranks below.
• The leader of the Clan is automatically a Grand Master.

Master – 

• Has access to settings and can start clan raids.
• Can Kick, Captains, Knights, & Recruits.

Captain – 

• Can Kick, Knights & Recruits

Knight –

• Can Kick Recruits

Recruit –

• No Powers.

Clan Raids and Rewards

Clan Raids are a way for you and your clan to come together and attempt to defeat as many Titan Lords as possible for a reward. You will battle these Titan Lords using a special set of cards.

Eligibility to start a Clan Raid requires a certain amount of Clan Tickets.

Clan Tickets can be earned by all members in the Clan by doing daily achievements.

There is a Max Limit of 2 Raids per week.

Clan Raid Tiers & Zones

There are 4 Clan Raid Tiers and each Tier has different level Zones.

Tier 1 –

• Starting Tier
• Unarmored Titan Lords in Clan Raids
• Raid Cost will vary between 200-500 Clan Tickets
• Rewards Tier 1 Cards
• 10 Zones within Tier 1

Tier 2 – 

• Armored Titan Lords in Clan Raids
• Raid Cost will be 500 Clan Tickets
• Rewards Tier 1 or Tier 2 Cards
• 20 Zones within Tier 2
• +5% Clan Morale Bonus

Tier 3 –

• Higher level Armored Titan Lords
• Rewards Tier 1 or Tier 2 Cards
• Raid Cost will be 500 Clan Tickets
• 60 Zones within Tier 3
• +10% Clan Morale Bonus

Tier 4 – 

• Higher level Armored Titan Lords
• Titan Lords have a chance of wearing Cursed Armor
• Raid Cost will be 500 Clan Tickets
• Rewards Tier 1 or Tier 2 Cards
• 40 Zones within Tier 3
• +15% Clan Morale Bonus

Navigate to the “Clan Info” Section to check your Clan Raid Tier and Zone.

Completing a Clan Raid will provide Clan Rewards and Rewards for yourself.

Clan Rewards

Clan XP – 

Experience for your clan will help boost your Clan up the leaderboards. Additionally, Clan XP will boost all Clan Members Advanced Start Percentage. 

Player Rewards

Clan Raid Cards –

Clain Raid Cards are used for fighting the Titan Lords in Raids, and having better Cards can really help. You will only receive cards your Clan Raid’s level or lower, unfortunately.

Dust – 

Dust is a reward you will receive that you can use to either upgrade your Clan Raid Cards or buy new Clan Raid Cards from the Dust Shop.

Hero Scrolls – 

Hero Scrolls will increase your Heroes Power.

Clan Morale

Clan Morale will be received based on the amount of daily achievements each member of the Clan contributes.

Clan Morale boosts the Clan’s Damage in Clan Raids.

There is a Cap of 30,000 Morale per Clan so it is important that as a Clan you use your Morale before it reaches that Cap.

Titan Lords

As you may know, you will be facing different types of Titan Lords in Clan Raids.

It’s crucial to keep in mind that the different parts of the Titan Lords body have  their own distinct health.

The Body Parts are:

• Head
• Torso
• Arms
• Legs

Some cards will deal greater damage towards a certain body part. Make sure to read each of your Clan Raid Card’s descriptions.

Types of Titan Lords

• Lojak the Fissure
• Mohaca the Gale
• Sterl the Unmaker
• Takedar the Reborn
• Terro the Seeker

Clan Raid Cards

As stated before, you can use a set of Clan Raid Cards to fight the Titan Lords in Clan Raids. Strategically obtaining and using the best cards you can is key.

The 3 Types of Clan Raid Cards

Burst –

Randomly, while fighting a Titan Lord the burst power can activate and do a great deal of extra damage during battle.

Afflication – 

Afflication cards are targetted to boost the amount of damage towards a certain body part of a Titan. 

Support – 

Something special about support cards is that they provide passive boosts. They will strongly boost tap damage and damage of other cards.

To see what type of cards you have, go to your card collection and press info on whatever card you want to view.

You can also upgrade your cards using Dust to increase their power.

All Clan Raid Cards

Preparing your Card Deck

Once a Clan Raid is started, there is a 24 hour period of waiting time before the attacks. This is to alert your Clan members so they can be prepared.

A good way to prepare is by setting up your Card Deck. Card decks consist of 3 cards only. This applies to all Clan Members.

Some good Decks are:

• Thriving Plague, Skull Bash, & Inspiring Force
• Clan Ship Barrage, Razor Wind, & Ancestral Favor
• Radioactivity, Maelstrom, & Rancid Gas
• Whip of Lightning, Blazing Inferno, & Inspiring Force

What are Pets

Pets are a feature that will enhance and improve your gameplay. They float in the air right next to your character.

To see your owned pets, click the Green Button on the bottom of your screen.

Pets come from eggs, and when you receive an egg they automatically hatch. If you get a multiple of a Pet you already have, that pet will increase your first pets level. 

Ways to Obtain Pets

There are several quick and easy ways of obtaining pets.

Milestones – When you reach a certain milestone you can get Pets as a reward. (Press Bottom left Red Sword Button -> Achievements -> Milestones, to view).

Daily Rewards – Some of the Daily Rewards are Pet Eggs. Be sure to log on everyday.

Shop – Opening the Video Chest allows for a 1% chance of getting an egg. You can open this Video Chest up to 3 times by watching ads. 

The Wooden Chest, Silver Chest, & Titan Chest all have Eggs. You will have to pay a certain amount of gems for these chests depending on your current level. 

Daily Deals switch once every 6 hours. Pets rotate in and out. You can buy these pets using gems.

Lastly, in the Shop there are Limited Edition Bundles you can purchase using real money. Much of these bundles have Eggs. 

Egg Spawns – Egg Spawns happen once every 4 hours (passively) and you will get a Pet Egg. 

Tourament Rewards – You can win Pet Eggs from Tournaments. 

Pet Quests

Completing Pet Quests will help your pets level up. Everyday you have a chance to complete up to 4 different Pet Quests for a reward. The reward for completion will be a certain amount of Pet XP.

Once you get enough Pet XP, a Pet of yours will level up!

When you reach 200 Total Pet levels, your pet will have the Auto Attack Ability. This means you will no longer have to tap on your screen for your Pet to attack. The Pet will Auto Attack once every 3 seconds. Otherwise, each Pet Attack will happen after 20 taps. To decrease the amount of Taps you have to take for your pet to attack, upgrade Pet Evolution in the Skill Tree.

Active & Passive Pet Skills

Pets both have Active & Passive Skills. Active Skills only work with the pet you have Equipped. Since you allowed to have only one Pet Equipped, it’s important to decide which of your Pet’s Active Skills you want to have on you.

A top-notch Pet that you can Equip and level up is the pet Nova. Nova is a good pet because it increases all of your damage, and that is an exemplary skill.

Secondary, Pets have Passive Skills that work if the pet is not equipped. Pets will increase their Passive Skill Bonus Percentage when they reach a certain level.

All Types of Pets

Legacy & Exotic

There are 2 types of Pet variations. The first type being Legacy, then later added onto the game came Exotic Pets.

It is believed that Exotic pets were added to introduce a greater range of Pet Skills. For example, many of the new exotic pets have Equipment Boosting Abilities.

Additional Ways to Enhance Pets

• In the Knight section of your Skill Tree, the Skill Barbaric Fury will increase Taps per Second, which will also make your Pet Attacks faster
• The Artifact “Sticky Fruit” increases Exotic Pet Damage
• The Artifact “Hades Orb” increases Exotic Pet Gold Bonus
• The Artifact “Apollo Orb” increases Pet Gold Bonus
• The Artifact “Heart of Storms” increases Pet Damage Bonus
• The full Equipment Set of Fatal Samurai will give +25% Active Pet Level
