Tips for Playing with Griff
- Master the Spread: Understanding how to effectively use Griff’s coin spread can make a huge difference. Try to position yourself so that enemies get hit by multiple coins from each wave.
- Utilize the Super: Griff’s Super can be game-changing. Aim to hit enemies on both the outward and return trips of the banknotes for maximum damage.
- Cover Control: Use Griff’s Piggy Bank Gadget to destroy enemy cover and open up the battlefield. This can force opponents into more vulnerable positions.
- Positioning is Key: Griff’s attacks are more effective at mid-range. Keep a safe distance from tanks while taking advantage of his spread attack to deal with multiple enemies.
- Sustainability with Business Resilience: If you have the Business Resilience Star Power, focus on continually dealing damage to keep your health up during skirmishes.
Best Game Modes to Use Griff
While Griff is a brawler that can handle pretty much any game mode due to his area control capabilities, the game modes that he handles best are Showdown, Hot Zone, Heist, and Brawl Ball.
Showdown
In solo or duo Showdown, Griff’s versatility and area control allow him to hold his own against a variety of brawlers.
Hot Zone
Griff excels in Hot Zone due to his wide attack spread and strong area control. His Coin Toss attack covers large zones, while his gadget and Super can push back enemies and deal massive damage.
Heist
Griff’s consistent damage output and ability to hit multiple targets make him effective in both attacking and defending the safe.
Brawl Ball
His ability to break cover with his Gadget can open up paths to the goal, and his Super can clear out defenders.
