Spar Coins
Why are so many Graalians trying to get Spar Coins? Well, here’s everything you need to know.
What are Spar Coins?
Spar coins are a currency you can use to buy items in the Graal Spar Coin Shop. You are also able to buy a limited edition Set on the GST day using Spar Coins.
How do you get Spar Coins?
You are only able to get spar coins by winning a singles spar match inside of the Graal City Battle Arena. Everytime you win a match you will either get 1 Spar Fragment or 1 Spar Coin. You will have to turn your Spar Fragments into coins in order to use them as currency.
Where is the Spar Coin Shop?
To get to the spar room shop, you will first want to locate the Spar rooms inside the Graal City Battle Arena.
Then enter the “War Room”.
Next, you will have to enter a Secret Room. Place a bomb in front of the wall to access it.
After, walk through the hallway to access the next area. Then you can finally enter the Spar Coin Shop from there.
How do you see your Spar Coins & Fragments?
To see your Spar Coins & Fragments head to your inventory. Then, go into the Currency Folder.
Spar Tips
Learning some spar tips can increase your win rate and help you gather Spar Coins quicker.
Singles (1v1) Spar Tips
Play Defensive – If you are new to spar, playing in a defensive spar style will be a game-changer. Patience is key, especially when you are first getting used to spar.
Tournament Spar Rooms are better – Many new sparers tend to go into the “Quick Spars” because it is easier. Sometimes this is true but it will not help you get spar wins and spar coins faster. In Tournament Spar Rooms you are able to get spar streaks which could get you multiple Spar Coins or Fragments in a row.
Stop running! – A common mistake new sparers do is run around… a lot. It is actually better to run around less and swing your sword more.
Know your opponent – After sparring for awhile, you may notice a pattern in Spar Styles. Recognizing these styles will help you win more spar rounds.
Different countries, Different spar styles – As surprising as it may seem, the country a person is from can likely play a huge role in their spar styles. Players from North America or Europe tend to be more offensive and require you to hit them more directly. On the contrary, players from Asia tend to be more defensive and require less of a direct hit. This does not always apply though so referring back to the previous tip, know your opponent!
Be kind – This may seem like a strange tip but trust me it is not. The Spar Community can be toxic but your success rate will improve if you are a kind player. Sometimes, people will let you win if you ask politely and if you ever make friends they will obviously want to help you get Spar Coins. Players may give you some of their own spar tricks or even invite you to practice with them just because you are kind.
Corner your Opponent – Successfully forcing your opponent into a corner is key. You will have to be a bit “aggressive” to pull this off, but if you corner your opponent they will be easy to hit.
GST (5v5) Spar Tips
Forming a Proper Team – Forming a GST team is not as easy as it sounds. Do not be shy to ask “pro players” to be on your team because a lot of the time they are looking for a team but are too shy to ask you! To add on to this tip, it is helpful to have both offensive and defensive sparers on your team and people from different countries.
Team Coordination – You cannot Guild Spar like you are in a 1v1 match. What your team member does should likely affect what you do.
Communication – If you do not communicate with your Guild Spar team, it will be much harder to execute things out during the GST matches. Always say things in a respectful way because it will hurt the team if there is any drama.
Sticking Together – In Guild Spar matches, many advanced teams form a wall together in an effort to mess up the other team while they are being coordinated themselves.
