King of Thieves – In-Depth Guide on Guilds in KOT
As you start to play King of Thieves, you might notice early on there is a quest to join a Guild. I don’t know about you, but I was pretty excited when I saw this because guilds make every online game more special.
Just like with the perks of adding friends on King of Thieves, you’ll get tons of free benefits for being in a guild too.
King of Thieves Guild Benefits
Joining a guild is essential while playing King of Thieves. Luckily, you can do this pretty early on.
There are no risks – Whether you are entering a dungeon or spending on upgrades, there is certainly a risk to the decisions you make. This is not the case for guilds though. There is absolutely no danger in joining a guild and you are able to leave whenever you want.
Have your dungeon checked – The best way to see if you have a solid defense in your dungeon is to get guild mates to test your dungeon out. Your guild mates can practice your dungeon and give you instant feedback via the guild chat.
Get your stolen gems retrieved – There’s nothing more devastating than logging onto King of Thieves and realizing a gem of yours has been stolen. When you are in a guild, you can rely on your guild mates to attempt to retrieve your stolen gem. You can help them out as well.
Making friends – As corny as it may sound, friendships are bound to be made within your guild. You are able to easily connect with people across the world and bond over king of thieves.
How to Join a King of Thieves Guild
If you are a new player, you might not be able to join a guild at first. This is because you must first be in the “Wooden League”. You will unlock this league around Level 4 and trust me the levels fly by quick!
There are a couple ways you can access the “Guild Section”. One way you can check is by viewing the “Guild Mission” and access the Guild Section from there.
Otherwise, you can find the Green colored Guild Button on your screen.
Once you have accessed the Guild Section, it is time to start thinking about the guild you want to join.
You are able to join any guild you want as long as you meet the requirements shown. In the “Guild Search” section you can browse through different guilds that are recommended towards you.
Well, if you just can’t decide you can join our own guild! Our guild’s name is “Ohana Duh” and if you join you can chat with us on the Guild Chat in-game.
Speaking of the “Guild Chat”, you might be wondering how to access it after joining a Guild. You can open it on the right-hand side of your screen.
The Guild Chat will only work for players who are 13 years old or older.
How to Create a King of Thieves Guild
Creating a guild is a simple process but if you are a new player, it is best to first join a guild so you can build experience and resources first.
The first step to creating a guild on King Of Thieves is locating the “guilds” section.
Next, head to the “My Guild” section. You will need to make sure you are not in a guild in order to create your own.
You’ve got it from here! Now, you can simply create your own guild. It will cost a substantial amount of gold; 200,000.
For your guild, you will be able to have:
- A Custom Guild Name
- Control over Guild Ranks
- Control over the Guild’s Settings
King of Thieves Guild Armory
The King of Thieves Guild Armory is just as cool as it sounds. You are able to exclusively purchase items using “Honor”. You can obtain honor from Guild Battles and Arenas.
Within the Armory, the items you see will be based on your guilds level and total honor. The stronger your guild becomes, the better items you will see.
You able to purchase items from the following sections in the Armory:
- Potions
- Ingredients
- Spheres
- Resources
If you leave a guild, you will lose all the Guild Honor you contributed to that guild.
Finding the Guild Armory is simple. All you’ll have to do is head to the Guilds Section. After, press “My Guild” and then press the Armory Button.
King of Thieves Guild Battles
Once every 3 days the guild you are in will be paired against another guild that ranks similarly based on previous guild battles. The winning guild will be the guild who gains the most delta within the next 3 days after the guild war begins.
Players who contribute 40% or more Delta will be labeled as a “Top Contributor” in the Guild Member List and are also rewarded 30 orbs. Being an active player will help you become a top contributor.
Everyone in the Guild will participate in Guild Battles besides the Newcomer players.
King of Thieves Guild Arena
Unlike a typical Guild Battle, Arenas do not happen very often. Guilds are automatically added to the Arenas but if the guild you’ve created or are in has been created after the start of an Arena you’ll have to wait. The Guild Arenas start once a month.
Your guild will battle against other guilds to see where you rank at the end of the 30 days.
There are four Arena styles:
- Key
- Glove
- Mask
- Crown
Depending on your guild’s arena placement, you’ll get different rewards based on how you rank out of the 25 or less guilds at the end.
- 1st-6th place – Promotion to the next Arena + (x amout of) orbs + (x amout of) tears + (x amout of) GXP + chests for each victory in the Guild Battle;
- 7-14th place – Remain in the current Arena + (x amout of) orbs + (x amout of) tears + (x amout of) glory + chests for each victory in the Guild Battle;
- 15-25th place -The Guild goes down to the previous Arena + chests for each victory in the Guild Battle.
The rewards vary based on Arena type and stages.
Note: “Elders, Trusted, Regulars, and Initiated receive 5 chests. Apprentice only get 2. Newcomers get nothing.” – If you notice some players getting less rewards, this is why.
King of Thieves Guild Levels
You are able to see the level of your guild or other people’s guild easily.
Right besides the Guild Level, you will see the Guild Bonuses next to it. These bonuses are gained by leveling up your guild.
Any player in the guild is able to contribute to leveling up the Guild by pressing the “Level Up” Button in the “My Guild” section.
You can spend your resources in exchange for GXP (Guild Experience). The Guild Bonuses help everyone within the guild.
King of Thieves Guild Newcomers
Players who first join a guild are considered “Newcomers” for a short period time. They are NOT allowed to participte in the on-going guild battle or guild arena until the next round & will not receive the rewards of the round they did not participate in.
There are a couple exceptions to this though:
- New players who join a guild for the very first time are automatically considered fully a guild mate.
- Players who join a guild with less than 5 members are automatically considered fully a guild mate.
It will be easy to tell who a Newcomer is because they will have a Newcomer label and have their own section on the guild list.
Newcomers ARE considered part of the 25 players that are allowed in a guild.
