Benefits of Netherite Items

• Most Durable Material
• Does not burn in Lava
• Netherite Armor has Knock Back Resistance
• Has a cool ash black color (for style)
• Efficient & Works well with Enchantments

Obtaining Ancient Debris

Collecting Ancient Debris is the first step to creating Netherite Armor. To gather Ancient Debris, you’ll first have to enter the Nether of course. The next thing to do is dig the Netherack Blocks and eventually you’ll stumble across an Ancient Debris Block. Be patient because Ancient Debris Blocks are hard to find.

Make sure you use a Diamond Pickaxe to mine Ancient Debris Blocks.

Use Furnace to Gather Netherite Scrap

Crafting Netherite Ingots

To Craft Netherite Ingots, you’ll need Gold Ingots and Netherite Scraps. A Crafting Table is required as well.

To create ONE Netherite Ingot you need 4 Gold Ingots and 4 Pieces of Netherite Scrap. Each Gold Ingot & Each Netherite Scrap needs to be separated into its own stack (4 Gold Ingot Stacks & 4 Netherite Scrap Stacks).

Crafting Netherite Tools, Weapons and Armor

Crafting your tools, weapons, and armor into their respective Netherite versions will give you an edge over in-game mobs.

What tools Can be Upgraded to Netherite?

The following tools are all of the tools that can be upgraded to their respective Netherite Versions.

• Diamond Sword
• Diamond Pickaxe
• Diamond Shovel
• Diamond Axe
• Diamond Hoe

What Armor Pieces can be Upgraded to Netherite?

The following Armor Pieces can be upgraded to their respective Netherite Versions.

• Diamond Chestplate
• Diamond Helmet
• Diamond Leggings
• Diamond Boots

What do you need to Upgrade a Tool or Armor Piece to Netherite?

In order to upgrade your tools or Armor to Netherite versions, you’ll first need to have the following.

1. The Diamond Tool or Armor Piece of your Choice
2. One Netherite Ingot
3. A Smithing Table

Getting more Netherite Items

While in Vanilla Minecraft there are only a few items that can be upgraded to a Netherite version, there is a Netherite Plus Mod that gives you the ability to create more Netherite Items.

With this Netherite Plus Mod comes plenty more uses with Netherite. Majority of the time, you can use 1 Netherite Ingot + (Another Item) in the Smithing Table to create a Netherite Item.
