Tap Titans 2 Equipment

This is the ultimate guide to understanding all you need to know about Tap Titans 2 Equipment.

Equipment is used to increase your fighting power and abilities against the titans. There are a large range of boosts that can come from Equipment. Having proper knowledge on equipment is crucial to going far in your Tap Titans 2 journey.

How to get Equipment on Tap Titans 2

Fortunately, there are several different ways for you to obtain equipment.

Chests

You can likely get Equipment every day from opening the Daily Chests. Simply Navigate to the Shop and scroll down until you see the “Video Chest”. You can watch an ad to receive a chest reward(s) up to 3 times from this Chest. Each time there is a 77% chance of receiving 1-3 Equipment items as a reward.

To add on, there are also Chest rewards in the shop you can pay for using Diamonds. These include the Wooden Chest, Silver Chest, and Titan Chest. You are able to view the description of these chests to see what items it contains. Sometimes they have some equipment and/or crafting shards so be sure to check!

Lastly, in the Shop you can purchase Legendary Chest Bundles that sometimes contain high-level equipment or crafting shards. These Chest Bundles are limited edition as well. The only downside is that you are required to pay a certain amount of real money to purchase these bundles. Decide on whether this is the investment for you!

Seasonal Events

There is a new event every season that gives you the opportunity to gain equipment items. As you progress in the game you will be able to receive equipment along the way from this event once you meet the requirements for each stage.

If you are looking for additional rewards from these events consider buying the Seasonal Pass. This will cost real money though.

Daily Rewards

Make sure to log on every day so that you can get equipment as a free reward.

If you complete the Login Reward Streak every day for 2 weeks, the Daily rewards will then only include numbers 8-14 for every week after that …unless you break your streak.

Equipment Drops

This is one of the most effective and fast ways of obtaining equipment items.

Once you pass a certain stage level for the first time, a special Equipment Drop will appear containing a random equipment item at your level.

If you have got more than one Equipment Drop piled up the drop will say x(# of drops).

Crafting Shards

Crafting Shards can help you earn high-level equipment items.

What are Shards?

Shards are basically the currency for equipment. Even though you can sometimes purchase chests using diamonds for equipment, it does not compare to the quality of equipment you can get using shards.

How to Get Shards

Getting shards can be somewhat difficult and it especially seems that way if you are eager to get a new equipment item.

Even though obtaining shards may not be the easiest task, here are some ways you can do it:

Ranking High in a Tournament

There are 2 types of regular tournaments on Tap Titans 2, the Abyssal Tournament and the Standard Tournament.

Joining either of these tournaments will give you the chance to earn crafting shards and there are no reprecussions at all for joining a tournament.

Luckily, Tournaments happen quite often and last for about a day. There is no major waiting time.

Sadly, if you score in the bottom quartile it is unlikely you’d get crafting shards as a reward so be sure to try your best to rank high!

Daily Rewards

If you collect the Daily Rewards for a certain amount of days you will be able to get shards. Woo hoo!

Chests

From the purchasable chests in the shop, you can get a healthy amount of shards. Shards also may appear in the “Daily Deals” section.

Seasonal Events

Sometimes the reward for progressing through the Seasonal Events can be shards. This method for collecting shards is very effective as well.

How to Use Shards to get Equipment

Using shards are arguably the best way to get equipment you’ll want to use. Much of the equipment you get from drops or events are low level equipment but with shards you can get equipment of high level and plenty of other special perks.

Step 1 – Press the yellow button at the bottom of your screen to get to the Equipment Section.

Step 2 – Press the “Crafting” Button shown with the crafting shard logo.

Here, you will 4 options, event, rare, legendary, and mythical.

PS: Event Equipment cannot be crafted and must be obtained during the Season that the Equipment is themed.

Step 3 – Select the level of equipment you want to buy. The higher the ranking, the more expensive it is. Make sure you can afford whatever equipment you want to craft.

Each Equipment Set has 5 different Equipment items (Hats, Auras, Suits, Slashes, & Swords) in each category.

Once you get all 5 Equipment items from the category you will get a certain buff. When you craft an equipment item, unfortunately, you cannot choose which of the 5 types of equipment items you can get. You’ll have to be lucky. Buffs are extremely helpful so try to gain as many as you can.

If you sell/delete any of the equipment after you’ve already gained the Buffs from having a complete set, the Buffs will not be removed. These buffs are permanent to your account.
